Ascolana The Philharmonic Society, a historical musical association founded in 1874, is about to experience a very significant in its history since it will make possible a project of great importance and considerable effort consisting of the union ' Marchigiana Philharmonic Orchestra and of' Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese in one great team that will debut next March 11 , at 21.00 to Ventidio Basso Theatre in Ascoli Piceno Philharmonic under the name of the Adriatic . The initiative is certainly unprecedented in that for the first time two of the twelve-concert venues Orchestra (ICO) approved by the State are united in a common artistic project for the construction of a production sinfonica. Appare dunque coraggioso lo sforzo organizzativo delle due istituzioni sinfoniche - coordinato dalla Società Filarmonica Ascolana la quale, in collaborazione con l’Amministrazione Comunale, ha incluso il concerto dell’11 marzo nella propria stagione concertistica - impegnate in un progetto di collaborazione ambizioso e suggestivo che viene ad assumere un carattere particolarmente significativo in un momento così difficile per le istituzioni culturali del nostro paese. Il progetto si concretizzerà dunque nella cornice del Teatro Ventidio Basso di Ascoli Piceno, sede che accoglierà le prove e il primo concerto della nuova e grande orchestra che per l’occasione sarà diretta dal M° Donato Renzetti ( pictured), born in Abruzzo and artistic and musical director of the Philharmonic Marche. The music program includes the Symphony No. 10 in F sharp major "Unfinished" by Gustav Mahler , a selection of suites from Romeo and Juliet by Sergei Prokofiev and Maurice Ravel's Bolero . Will primarily be carried pages of the great symphonic orchestras that the two individual normally can not afford because they can not have organic so impressive in terms of quantity. The concerts will be repeated March 12 at L'Aquila in Abruzzo and Symphony concert season of the Institution on March 13 at the Teatro Gentile da Fabriano.
